A python script is used to derive the urbanized area, urban footprint, and new development maps based on a set of input land cover images. For each output map, the attribute table contains the total area, contained within the study area, for each category.
The output maps are not clipped to the study area. However, the areas in the attribute table do correspond to the study area. The areas are in hectares. Note: The "COUNT" fields in the tables correspond to the full extent of the map, not the study area.
